Diamond Painting Design Your Own!
Diamond drill dot paint is me! I have become a diamond drill dot painter!!! I have found it to be very satisfying and, of course, can be done while watching (listening) to TV. Or I wouldn't be doing it!
People people!! I have been gone way to long. What have I been doing? Ha ha that's a long story.
I am a, what is called a woman of many facets. Huh? Well, let me tell you. I am a woman, a wife, a mom, a grandma, a great grandma and an artist, crafter, geneanologist, designer, knitter, crocheter, watercolorist........and omg, can I be much more? Oh yaaaaa, I'm a shuffler, as in shufflerboard, paper artist, baker, and like many of you an all around wonderful person and friend. You'll never find a better friend than me.
I am reviving my blog today because I had a very large margarita and was working on my custom design diamond painting when I thought I should help others do this and find others that maybe could help me. How in the world can I make my own and make it work! I've scoured the internet, youtube and came to the conclusion that I'm pretty much "on my own". I am not a company nor affiliated with any company selling or suppling the wares that are needed to do your own diamond painting. I just want to do my own thing! I've used the sticky glues to make my designs accept the drills but that's not the best thing on the market that I could find. However, it's all I've found so far, so how can I make it work.
Ok, I'm not real sure the companies out there want me/us to succeed. Let's continue.
I take my watercolor paintings and have turned them into diamond paintings. Here is just one sample I created from my photo and turned it into a diamond painting. My Great Grandson Sully
This was done from a photo given to me by his mom and I turned it into a diamond painting and framed it. There are two others. I did it but it was kind of done in a way that could have been better with better tools and supplies. But you get the idea.
The sunflowers #1 turned out a little dark so I decided to try again.
Now, I'm working on one of my water color paintings. I finished one other one of sunflowers diamond dotted from a watercolor painting of mine. I like the florals or diamond paintings to not completely fill the page like the first example.
What do you think? Are there others out there that want to do this? If anyone has any ideas or have always wanted to do this or have done this, please let me know and join my quest to "do it on our own"!
Good day friends! Any help, comments, etc. is and will be greatly appreciated and helpful to all!
Kat
